HISTORY:
Viking Offroad Engineering evolved with a solid back ground of mechanical engineering, performance vehicle dynamics and design as well as the skills, experience and tooling make Dreams Reality. Decades of racing and recreation experience help us provide services which are valuable to our customers. Viking Offroad Engineering products are designed and manufactured to serve their purpose well. Our projects are developed to provide real world testing which helps to ensure we are producing quality products.
Racing has been a critical driving Force in Viking Offroad Engineering’s evolution. Hands on experience has led Viking through the learning curves to possess the ability to push the bounds of innovation and improve our passion for motorsports. Baja Mexico and the Mojave Desert are the proving grounds for Vikings research and development. These rough and ever-changing terrains lend perfect testing scenarios to engineer Great Products.
Viking Offroad Engineering takes pride in prototyping and innovating new designs that can be embraced and used. We also have experience with composite fabrication which opens the doors for carbon fiber, fiberglass and Kevlar molds, plugs and parts. Computer Aided Design (CAD) and Computer Numerical Cutting (CNC) are tools that are used in our engineering, iteration and manufacturing for production parts and projects. Still we rely mostly on building vehicles by hand using conventional tooling. Built the Old Fashion Way with Blood, Sweet and Choice words at a Higher Volume!
From a 3-car garage in Chatsworth, Ca welding and fabricating suspension, roll cages and bumpers to get through college for Mechanical Engineering at CSUN building carbon fiber Formula SAE race cars. To the amazing vehicle fabrication shop in beautiful Ventura, Ca where Viking Offroad Engineering built a solid foundation developing innovative race trucks, cars and prerunners. And now our current location in Agua Dulce, Ca where we are able to Design, Build and Test Vikings newly developed vehicles on our Offroad Test Track. All of these proper steps have been part of Viking Offroad Engineering’s Master Plan to build some of the most Competitive Race Vehicles on the Plane and BEYOND!
